About Susanna:

I come to counselling with an MA in Counselling Psychology (RCC #19302), a BA in English and History, and certification in Secondary Education.

My lived experiences as a daughter, sibling, spouse, mother, and teacher motivate me to assist others in successfully processing and managing the complexities of living. My focus in counselling is on the whole person you are, the different worlds in which you live each moment, and the significant people who share them with you.

I welcome and value your story and the stories of those who closely connect with you.

Together, they create a picture of who you are: a growing, changing individual with whom I am privileged to walk for a little while.

Types of therapy offered: A blend of mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy (MCBT) and principles of Transactional Analysis rooted in a compassionate, strengths-based, person-centered approach

Assistance with: the challenges, changes, and transitions that come with living in a complex world, including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, partnering and parenting

Integrating: Bio-psycho-social-spiritual frameworks, mindful presence, deep rest, humanistic and Judeo-Christian frames of reference.
