REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGISTS
Our Registered Psychologists (RPsych) offer therapy sessions for adult individuals.
They also provide counselling and assessments for Veterans through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and RCMP clients.
Direct billing is available.

VETERANS AFFAIRS AND RCMP
Our Registered Psychologists provide counselling and assessments for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and RCMP.
If you have been impacted by your service, we can provide support with Veterans Affairs processes (disability applications, etc.) and treatment.

CLINICAL COUNSELLING (RCC, RSW)
Our Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) and Registered Social Workers (RSW) offer clinical counselling sessions for adults, children, teens, couples, families, parents, and caregivers.
This includes EMDR Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Couples Counselling, Child and Youth Counselling, and more.

PERINATAL COUNSELLING
We now offer perinatal counselling at our Oak Bay Psychology location with Amy O’Dea, MSW, RSW.
Amy offers counselling for prenatal, postnatal, and early- and end-term loss.
She has 20 years experience in the field of social work, and is a DONA certified doula and EMDR therapist.

EMDR THERAPY
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is an extensively researched and effective therapy method.
EMDR is not a traditional talk therapy. It is a trauma-informed structured therapy that does not require talking in detail about a distressing issue.
Treatment can often be completed in fewer sessions than other therapies.
We also offer Women's EMDR Wellness sessions tailored to female-identifying clients.

COUNSELLING FOR PARENTS, CAREGIVERS AND FAMILIES
Tory Vitaly, MSW, RSW, is an advanced practitioner in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). She offers counselling sessions for people of all ages including children (ages 7+), teens, adults, parents, caregivers, and families.
Jennifer Bracke, MA, RCC, is a warm, collaborative therapist who works with parents, families, and children/teens (ages 7-19).

CHILD AND YOUTH COUNSELLING
We now offer child and youth counselling for children (ages 7+) and teens (ages 12-19), in addition to providing support for parent(s), caregivers, and families.

Tory Vitaly (RSW) and Jennifer Bracke (RCC) are accepting new children and youth clients. They can also work together with children and parents.

SOMATIC EXPERIENCING (SE™)
Somatic Experiencing (SE™) counselling is a body-centered therapy.
Its goal is to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma in our bodies and nervous systems.
SE™ helps us release and recover when stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze.
Jacqueline Gautier, MA, RCC, SEP is an SE trained therapist and Registered Clinical Counsellor. She is accepting clients at our Fairfield location (daytime and evening).

LOW COST COUNSELLING
Low cost counselling is available with students completing their Master’s degrees.
Daytime, evening and Saturday sessions are available.
Sessions are available at our Fairfield and Oak Bay locations.
Rates are $50 to $75 per session.

Our Fairfield Psychology office is located in the community of Fairfield-Gonzales in Victoria, BC. There is free parking on Lillian Road or the north side of Fairfield Road. There is a bus stop out front and a bike rack. The front door is kept locked for safety reasons, but we will meet you at the door at your appointment time.

Our Oak Bay Psychology office is located above Starbucks on Oak Bay Avenue. We have an office and reception area on the second floor. There is free two hour parking around the building. There is no elevator in the building.

1. Welcoming Environment:
We now have two offices in Victoria, BC, located in the communities of Fairfield and Oak Bay. We aim to provide a calm, comfortable setting designed to help you feel at ease. We offer both in-person counselling sessions as well as virtual counselling sessions to anyone in British Columbia.
2. Initial Paperwork:
Before your session begins, there is some paperwork that can be filled out either online before your session or in the office when you arrive.
These general forms provide us with some background information, including any specific concerns you’d like to address. This ensures your therapist understands your needs from the start.
3. Confidentiality:
Our team aims to prioritize your privacy and confidentiality. Your information is handled with care, and we adhere to privacy and ethical standards.
4. Getting to Know You:
Your first session is focused on understanding your needs and goals. Whether you’re seeing us for anxiety, trauma, family therapy, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, perinatal counselling, or any other area, your therapist will ask questions to get to know you, your history, and your reasons for seeking therapy.
5. Collaborative Approach:
Together, you’ll explore what you hope to achieve through counselling and discuss next steps.
