About Jenn (Registered Clinical Counsellor and Registered Nurse):

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) (#20907) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.

My background includes:

  • more than 10 years working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the emergency department and community setting and

  • working with health care professionals.

This experience led me to pursue my passion for counselling adult individuals to help them connect with their authentic selves and develop deeper relationships with others.

My counselling approach is trauma-informed and an integrative blend of evidence-based practices and techniques. This includes:

  • EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)

  • Attachment Theory

  • Mindfulness

  • Self Compassion.

I will provide a compassionate, safe, and non-judgemental space as we collaboratively explore your lived experience. I can help support you to become more aware of unexpressed emotions, to discover unmet needs, and to identify core values so that you may feel more connected to your inherent strengths and wisdom.
