About Robin:
“Out beyond the ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field.
I will meet you there.”
~ Rumi ~
I am a lifelong learner with a fascination for the stories people live their lives by, the ways in which their values and beliefs align with their experience, and a curiosity for what’s working and what needs to change in order to bring clarity and relief.
My clients always have my unconditional support and validation of their experiences while we work together to facilitate growth, self-awareness, and personal empowerment through self-discovery.
My counselling approach is, first and foremost, relational and collaborative. I connect with my clients to co-create a safe, non-judgemental, curiosity-based space within which to explore what is most important to them.
Through lived-experience, specialized training and volunteering with organizations such as Citizens’ Counselling Centre, Victoria Hospice and Vancouver Island Cancer Centre, I bring strengths of: spirituality, humour, gratitude, love and social intelligence to my practice, as well as the gifts of empathy, intuitive perception and compassion.
