About Will:
Hi, my name is Will, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who offers counselling services for youth (ages 12+ only) and adults.
My Background and Approach
My education and training has focused on the brain, human development, mental health, learning, and trauma-informed practice.
I currently work as a school counsellor in the Greater Victoria School District (SD61) and have experience working with children, teens, and adults.
As a counsellor, I am most experienced working with clients with academic challenges, ADHD, anxiety, family stress, grief and loss, life transitions, loneliness, relationship challenges, school and work stress, and trauma.
My approach to counselling focuses on the power of human relationships to help us change, grow, and heal. The principles that guide my practice are safety and trust, empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. My goal is for every client to feel empowered, respected, and understood.
My Credentials
Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Adler University
Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Education, University of Victoria
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #20237)
Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #10004594)
BC Certified Teacher (L203143)

NOTE:
I cannot work with any person who is a student in the Greater Victoria School District (SD61), or any person who is a member of the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF), as this would be a conflict of interest.
At this time, I cannot serve any clients younger than 12 years old.
